Which Kubernetes certifications do DevNinjas workshops prepare participants for?
DevNinjas offers a dedicated exam-preparation workshop for each of KCNA, KCSA, CKAD, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) and CKS. The Kubernetes certification guide helps you choose the right exam and preparation workshop based on your role and previous experience.
Which DevNinjas workshop is a good introduction to containers?
The DevNinjas Docker or Podman workshops are suitable starting points for containers if you have basic Linux terminal skills and can use a text editor. The Docker overview compares the introductory workshops to help you choose. If you need the Linux foundations first, start with the Linux workshop.
How long does Docker or Kubernetes training at DevNinjas take?
At DevNinjas, Introduction to Docker takes two days, Introduction to Kubernetes three, Docker and Kubernetes Essentials five, and CKA preparation four days. Public courses run on consecutive days, usually from 09:00 to 16:00.
Plan for these training days as one continuous period. The schedule lists available dates; each workshop page contains its daily agenda.
How do DevNinjas online courses work, and what technology do I need?
Public DevNinjas online courses combine live teaching over Zoom with individual exercises in the browser-based DevNinjas Dojo. Zoom also works through its browser web client. You need a current browser, internet access and IT approval for Zoom and the Dojo; exercises require no local installation.
Lab access is limited to the booked course. Materials use the booked course language. Courses are not routinely recorded. Contact DevNinjas if you fall ill. The course language appears beside each date.
How much does Docker or Kubernetes training cost, and what is included?
The price for your Docker or Kubernetes course is shown per person, excluding VAT, on its catalogue card and workshop page. It includes:
- Live training with an instructor and hands-on labs.
- Your own exercise resources in the DevNinjas Dojo during the workshop.
- A PDF certificate of attendance and an Open Badge.
Public sessions have at most eight participants. CKA, CKAD, CKS and KCNA exam vouchers are excluded. For corporate training, you receive a quote after agreeing the scope.
Is a DevNinjas certificate of attendance a certification like CKA?
The DevNinjas PDF certificate of attendance and Open Badge document workshop participation, not a passed certification exam such as CKA. Both are included in public DevNinjas workshops and corporate training. The PDF lists the topics covered and the course period from start date to end date, without a number of hours.
A CNCF/Linux Foundation certification requires passing the separately booked exam. The certification guide explains the choices.
Are DevNinjas courses eligible for a Bildungsgutschein, or can my employer pay?
DevNinjas does not hold AZAV provider accreditation, so its courses are not eligible for a Bildungsgutschein. Your employer can pay the training costs directly if you agree this before booking.
DevNinjas issues invoices and can provide a learning plan or agenda for approval. You receive a PDF certificate of attendance and an Open Badge as participation evidence. Request documents for your employer through the contact form.
Can I reschedule or cancel a DevNinjas course?
You can cancel public DevNinjas workshops and corporate training in text form without a cancellation fee up to 30 calendar days before the start. You may name a suitably qualified substitute at no extra cost until the start. The date DevNinjas receives your message counts.
Later cancellations may incur these fees:
- 29 to 15 calendar days beforehand: 30%.
- 14 to 7 calendar days beforehand: 60%.
- 6 calendar days or fewer beforehand: 100%.
Non-cancellable third-party and travel costs already incurred may be added. Request rescheduling in text form too; section 9 of the terms sets no separate rescheduling fee rule.
Can we book a DevNinjas workshop exclusively for our team?
You can request any DevNinjas catalogue workshop exclusively for your team or combine suitable modules into a tailored agenda. The corporate training overview explains planning and delivery options: remote, on site or in several blocks, in German or English.
