A Kubernetes cluster alone is not a cloud operating model.

Cloud operations are not limited to the large public cloud providers. A private cloud in your own data center or a hybrid environment can apply cloud-native principles just as well, and Kubernetes can form a technical basis for it. A resilient operating model connects delivery, identities, policies, observability, compliance and clear responsibility.

We develop these structures together with internal teams. Open Source First means preferring open technologies and standards where they fit the task, and making dependencies transparent.

The DevNinjas story: from implementation to enablement.

On 18 March 2019, DevNinjas started with one idea: connecting modern cloud and DevOps work with the operational reality of established organizations. It quickly became clear that a technical solution only helps if the internal team understands it and can carry it forward.

Open Source First is our preference, not a dogma. What matters are technical fit, open interfaces, traceable dependencies and data sovereignty in the given context.

The Japanese-inspired name part “Ninjas” stands for tradition, clear rules, discipline and precise craft. We recognize this reality in many grown organizations. “Dev” stands for cloud, DevOps, automation, accountable autonomy and modern, iterative processes.
