DevNinjas connects platform work and learning.
DevNinjas GmbH combines Kubernetes and cloud-native consulting, joint implementation and hands-on learning. The goal: internal teams build cloud platforms they understand and operate them with growing independence.

A Kubernetes cluster alone is not a cloud operating model.
Cloud operations are not limited to the large public cloud providers. A private cloud in your own data center or a hybrid environment can apply cloud-native principles just as well, and Kubernetes can form a technical basis for it. A resilient operating model connects delivery, identities, policies, observability, compliance and clear responsibility.
We develop these structures together with internal teams. Open Source First means preferring open technologies and standards where they fit the task, and making dependencies transparent.

Kubernetes · a possible platform building block
The DevNinjas story: from implementation to enablement.
On 18 March 2019, DevNinjas started with one idea: connecting modern cloud and DevOps work with the operational reality of established organizations. It quickly became clear that a technical solution only helps if the internal team understands it and can carry it forward.
The beginning
On 18 March 2019, DevNinjas set out to bring modern platform work and grown organizational reality together.
Late 2019 to spring 2020
The decisive insight
A technical solution is not enough if the internal team can neither contextualize nor continue it on their own.
Today
Consulting, co-building and learning
Today, DevNinjas combines joint implementation, traceable decisions and hands-on training in one coherent approach.
What Open Source First means for DevNinjas.
Open Source First is our preference, not a dogma. What matters are technical fit, open interfaces, traceable dependencies and data sovereignty in the given context.
Open Source First
We evaluate open-source solutions and open standards first. Proprietary products remain an option when they fit better technically or operationally.
Portability and data sovereignty
We make dependencies visible and factor realistic exit options, interfaces and data paths into architecture decisions.
Building knowledge in the team
Joint implementation, documentation and practice help internal teams understand decisions and operations better.
DevNinjas connects tradition and technical freedom.
The Japanese-inspired name part “Ninjas” stands for tradition, clear rules, discipline and precise craft. We recognize this reality in many grown organizations. “Dev” stands for cloud, DevOps, automation, accountable autonomy and modern, iterative processes.
The right entry point starts with your situation.
